The production then went on tour in April 2000 and by September 2007 had played over 800 performances to over 900,000 people in the United Kingdom, Europe, Lebanon, Greece, Estonia, Slovenia, Hungary, USA, Canada, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, Dubai, Oman, Qatar, South Africa, Singapore and Japan.

SHAOLIN: WHEEL OF LIFE

The production is based on one of the ancient Shaolin Temple legends and has a cast of 25 ordained Kung Fu soldier monks displaying their tremendous physical skills. The show can be seen at www.shaolinwheeloflife.com

The show tells the story of a troupe of Shaolin Monks who are invited by the Emperor to his palace. The Emperor, impressed by the Monks' skills, asks them to protect his palace from an invading force. A fierce battle then takes place from which the Monks emerge triumphant. When the Monks decline the Emperor's subsequent invitation to serve him permanently at court, he feels threatened by their superior 'Shaolin force'. He then attempts to slaughter the Monks and out of this tragic scene, only five children, now celebrated as the 'Five Ancestors' survive.
